New Report Finds Widespread Perceived Stigma Toward People Who Use Drugs, Have an Addiction, and Are in Recovery

Real-Time Interactive World-Wide Intelligence (RIWI), a global trend-tracking and prediction technology company, conducted a survey of over 30,000 Americans to better understand the stigma directed towards those who use drugs, have an addiction, or are currently in recovery. More than 70 percent of respondents believed that society exhibits a negative attitude towards those dependent on drugs, believing they have a low chance of recovery. Read more here.
