Louisa, Ky.— Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is proud to announce John Wilson’s promotion to Market President, Kentucky. Wilson joined the organization in 2020 as CEO of Crown Recovery Center in Springfield and was then named Market CEO in January 2022.
Now, as ARC’s Market President for Kentucky, he will lead the company’s efforts to expand in Greenup County and other markets throughout the state.
“John has been instrumental in helping us bring hope, healing and recovery to communities across Kentucky,” said Tim Robinson, Founder and CEO of ARC. “Under John’s leadership, we will be able to reach even more Kentuckians impacted by addiction and help them return to healthy, meaningful lives.”
Wilson initially came to ARC to oversee day-to-day operations at Crown Recovery Center, the largest residential treatment center in the state and one of the biggest nationwide. During his tenure, Crown Recovery Center has served more than 5,000 clients.
Moving forward, Wilson will play a critical role in transforming the shuttered Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) in Greenup County to a state-of-the-art comprehensive treatment center that offers the full continuum of care. As reported in the Ashland Daily Independent, ARC is on track to finalize the OLBH purchase this September.
In addition to his role with ARC, Wilson has served as Garrard County Judge/Executive for 16 years.
“I’ve had a front row seat to the devastating impacts of Kentucky’s addiction crisis and am passionate about bringing ARC’s treatment model to those who need it most,” said Wilson. “With Kentucky experiencing record-high overdoses, I’m grateful for this opportunity to continue helping more people find long-term recovery. Crown Recovery Center has already impacted thousands of lives, and I’m committed to replicating that success in Greenup County.”
Wilson is a licensed attorney who previously served on the Kentucky Criminal Justice Council and was appointed by Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice Minton to the Kentucky Access to Justice Commission.
