This week, U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $1 million to St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) through the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), on behalf of the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition.
The newly awarded funding will support a variety of projects including a jail reentry program that connects recently released individuals struggling with substance use disorder to resources in the community. Read more here.
