A new bill making its way through the General Assembly is aimed at making Kentucky communities “Recovery Ready” — and it already has the support of some of the state’s leading treatment providers and recovery advocates, including the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
The legislation, House Bill 7, is sponsored by Rep. Adam Bowling and would bring much needed consistency to local substance use prevention, treatment and recovery efforts.
Rep. Bowling and Beth Davisson of the Kentucky Chamber spoke with Spectrum News’ Mario Anderson about the legislation and how it will help more Kentuckians access the treatment and resources they need to lead healthy lives. Watch the interview here.
